based in Jakarta Indonesia is seeking for high qualified candidates
to fill the senior Level position.

TITLE: PURCHASING & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT TEAM LEADER (PSCMTL)

Role Summary:

Leads the cross-functional strategy development and sourcing team
within defined market sector, with accountability to support vision,
set the strategic direction, and manage resources effectively to
support, develop and execute business plans that produce desired
business results. Accountable for the PSCM function's staff and
activities.

Business Scope:

Indonesia business unit. Leads a PSCM team to support operations and
maintenance projects and shared functions departments in Indonesia
Business Unit.

Primary Accountabilities & Deliverables:

- Establishes and communicates vision and strategic direction for
assigned market sector aligned to the PSCM agenda
- Proactively operates across segments and company's businesses to
the wider benefit of company
- Removes roadblocks to enable the delivery of the market sector
strategies within the PSCM agenda
- Routinely communicates openly and with integrity across key
business stakeholders to align direction between the market sector
and the internal customer intent
- Delivers robust cost management and mitigates business risk via
rigorous contract management control
- Develops and leverages external relationships with cross industry
peers/industry experts to deliver continual challenge and
subsequent benefit to company
- Develops measures and monitors annual performance and resource plan
for the market sector.
- Champions the use of demand planning, strategic sourcing, and
supplier management processes and tools across all assigned market
sector projects to improve overall business performance.
- Provides gatekeeper function for key sourcing strategies and
activities to ensure agreements are well planned, fully developed,
competitive, and will deliver the maximum value/ supply
optimization to company
- Champions HSSE and promotes compliance with company's code of
conduct
- Supports Safety and Operational Integrity through effective Supply
Quality Management
- Provide guidance to the SPU's in order to provide a consistent
approach / single face to the market
- Actively influences the material and inventory management agenda
to create value enabling solutions
- Shapes the logistics direction for material and/or equipment
movement to drive compliance to standards. minimize risks and
minimize costs
- Actively tracks the supply market to take advantage of the
prevailing opportunities in the marketplace
- Proactively explores the wider supply and industry markets to
identify opportunities that company can leverage for great benefit
delivery or to mitigate supply risk e.g. Technology developments,
acquisition impacts
- Identifies, implements and realizes value through
effective ''strategic cost management'' utilizing best in class
methods (eg should cost) and tools (e.g. e-auctions)
- Coaches, supports and manage High Performing Teams. Responsibility
for employee development, performance management and career
guidance
- Demonstrates behaviors of creativity and challenge
- Exhibits behaviors that demonstrate inclusiveness and integration
across the wider PSCM function
- Anticipates and identifies capability gaps in self and others and
establishes plans to address
- Undertakes due diligence in mitigating all external supply risk
from supplier selection through to contract execution
- Represents company with the Government Institution on requesting
approval for company procurement processes.
- Represents company with the Government Institution on deploying
government procurement programs and regulations.
- Chairperson on Procurement Committee for contract value below than
$3M

Key Challenges over the next 12 months:

Delivery a strategy of procurement support and contracts for project,
effectively deploy and manage sector strategies. Build a competent
team by increasing team competency, leadership and experience.

Postholder Characteristics:

- Must demonstrate skilful application of Contract execution and
management, Materials management, Project Management Skills,
Financial Skills
- Must demonstrate mastery of Demand management, Sourcing, Supply
chain risk management, Supplier performance management, Negotiating
and Influencing Strategy
- Must be an expert in Market sector strategy development &
application
- Exhibits and understands the purpose for creating the future
- Sponsors and collaborates on driving to make a difference ,
developing internal & external relationships , performance
management , commercial focus
- Advocates and proactively supports living by company Values,
implementing the Code of Conduct & company's Management Framework,
delivering process & personal safety , bringing out the best in
people
- Must have a minimum 8 years of relevant professional training,
development and affiliation, oil and gas industries experience
- Must have a minimum 12 years of relevant purchasing and supply
chain experience, commercial experience
- Must understand the political landscape, regional and Country
specific issues and challenges
- Considerable understanding and experience of the E&P business
- Considerable supply chain management experience with good
understand of local procurement regulation
- Understanding and knowledge of the external competitive environment
- Proven ability to think and act strategically
- Excellent relationships, interpersonal, communication and
organisational skills
- Ability to engage at all levels of the organisation includes third
parties organization e.g Government bodies, and Suppliers
- Facilitative style and able to use good judgement
- Leader of change
- Problem solving skills which deliver imaginative solutions to
complex problems
- Self starter with high levels of motivation and energy
- Strong Organisational Development background and experience
