An English language bi-monthly advertising newspaper seeks a
key hands-on executive to produce an advertising paper aimed at the Jakarta
expatriate community..
Duties:
-Hands-on supervision of advertising newspaper lay-out to
ensure a balanced, reader – friendly publication
-Responsible for transforming varied, high volume,
pre-formatted English language advertising input tabloid-sized newspaper format
Qualifications:
-Experience essential in senior position in magazine or
newspaper make-up
-Total ability to work with In-Design programs on PC or Mac
computers
-Graphic design experience useful, but emphasis on
experience of page laying out of display ads of many sizes, plus some text
-Male of Female who will meet deadlines

A new bi-monthly advertising newspaper targeting the Jakarta
expatriate community is seeking an experienced man or woman responsible for
sales of display ads. He or She will supervise a 4-person sales force.
Duties:
-Responsible to the publisher for ad sales
-Ensure ads are in correct computer formats
-Supervise a team of sales persons to ensure targeted
clients are visited and sales finalized
Qualifications:
-Under 45 years old, male or female with abilities to motivate
the sales team
-Experience essential in similar position, either in
newspapers or magazines
-Fluent spoken and written English and superior computer
skills
